Katie Sigg

Katie Sigg, COT, OSA, OSC, is Director of Research at Market Scope, bringing more than a decade of ophthalmology experience across the clinic, surgery, research, and strategic business development.

Katie began her career in 2015 at the front desk of a high-volume ophthalmology practice. She went on to become lead ophthalmic technician, assist in surgery, and build the practice’s clinical research department as lead research coordinator, including investigator-initiated studies developed with physicians. She most recently worked on the life sciences team at 20/20 Onsite, designing programs to help clinical trials accelerate enrollment, improve retention and reduce patient and site burden.

Katie has presented at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, serves as adjunct faculty for IJCAHPO and ASOA, and has published in DIA Global Forum and Administrative Eyecare. She is chair of the New England Chapter of Ophthalmic World Leaders, a 2024 to 2025 OWL Fellow, and a finalist for the 2026 OWL Leadership Awards Rising Star Award. She also serves in chapter leadership with the Foundation Fighting Blindness in Boston.
